It was with great sadness that we announced the death of Michael Sampson chairman of Campbell Sampson on 29th May 2006. Michael founded the company 12 years ago and it was his personality and pleasant disposition that made the company the success it was. His love of life and the warmth and enthusiasm he afforded to the people he met endeared him to you all and earned him enormous respect within the city, the business community and the church. You his clients, friends and associates all meant so much to him in the day to day running of his business and beyond.

Changes within the Company were inevitable of course without the main player nothing could have been the same. A new address was necessary because the building in Victoria Street is now becoming a small hotel. Staff movement and sadly not having the Cancer Charity as a client any longer meant a safe haven was needed to be found for the existing clients in order to continue the good service Campbell Sampson had provided. A smooth transfer to a larger company in Liverpool was effected and business continues without interruption.

I am happy to tell you that we are now sponsoring the Marie Curie Hospice Liverpool and will inform you of our forthcoming charity events for that very good cause and in memory of Michael.

Please feel free to contact me with business enquiries or to chat about your connection with Michael.

I will be delighted to hear from you

Patricia Sampson
